The Time for Life service is provided by a team of dedicated professionals available throughout Devon (with the exception of Plymouth & Torbay). Our staff have been recruited to specifically identify and support individual needs with the overall aim of improving quality of life.
Time for Life is a joint venture between Age Concern Devon, Upstream & Westbank. We successfully won the tender to provide this 2 year pilot project funded by the Department of Health and supported by Devon County Council in October 2007.
The Peninsula Medical School is evaluating this service, to determine whether it is beneficial to those using it, and to explore its value for money. This research will inform the development of mentoring services, both locally and nationally, and all participants are given the opportunity to take part.
