Engaging Older People
This 3 year project (May 2008-2011) has been initiated as a result of an increasing number of enquiries from older people in England who have expressed an interest in finding out more about older peoples issues in developing countries.
We already know:
- Older people in England are more interested in development issues than they have ever been
- Older people in developing counties are not well represented in development initiatives
- Older people all over the world face similar issues of isolation, poverty, loneliness, access to health and social care services.
